so it is also called West Indian cherry. In the beginning of 20th century, acerola was brought into Hawaii
from tropical America, after it was spread to Indiaand southeast asian countries, acerola was wise spread
in tropical and subtropical regions of the world. In the cultivation of plants at present, acerola’s VC content is the highest. There are 2445 milligrams of vitamin c in every 100 grams of fruits. It is 35 times of lemon’s, 17 times of strawberry’s, it is also more than 11 times of guava’s,
which is considered as the fruits is rich in VC content. Acerola is genuine “the king of VC”.
